Water photo shoot!

I had a lot of fun on my latest photo shoot with Jessica Parker. I don’t know why I was so nervous to go.

I’ve been waiting sooooooo long for summer so I could get some beach photos of somebody, and yay! FINALLY !!! And they all turned out so great. She really knows how to pose! She has a great eye for what is around her, where the light is, what her angels are. She could probably be a good photographer too. Either way she rocks at modeling! And is quite lovely.

So annoying

A lot of people look at my pictures and tell me, “Wow you are so pretty! So you are a model?” EHHH? There are three completely different girls in my photos. One is asian. I can’t possibly look like three different people AND switch between being asian and white. I even state who the models are in my photos AND link back to them so they are easily found.

Update: Now there are 4 different girls, and I still get the comments. That’s really sweet but I’m a photographer, not model. I can’t look like four completely different people. Nobody can. I just don’t get it.

My back hurts so much right now. I’ve just been suffering so long since we are low on workers even though I wanted to quit. They don’t take it seriously at work, why isnt that floor fixed? It hurts me every time. I keep saying it, but nothing comes of it. It’s not a little pain it’s like WOW … I need to be medicated just to deal. For a while I could not even put my seatbelt on because my arm would snap back from the pain. It’ll never go away as long as I have to mop that floor, or do all that stuff where I work. I definitely have to quit.

Random

I should have taken some behind the scene photos of my photo shoot with Lauren! We found really large bones while on our shoot. I almost forgot that I used to find bones all the time everywhere when I was growing up in Salsbury. It’s just a swamp now there. We where happily taking pictures when I started hearing these creepy dog type noises and decided to get the heck out of there. I’ve seen bears and wolves around that place .. and then just saw bones so ….

When we were driving to another location two cards decided to stop right in the middle of a 4-way intersection to stop and have a long conversation. There were cars all over honking. That is classic Ishpeming for you.

I wish I lived in a better place with more opportunities though. I’d love to work on a shoot with a stylist and make up artist. But it seems there is not really the option here. Small town. Well any luck I ever had, I went out and made myself so maybe I can dig somebody up out of somewhere someday.

I’m excited to do a photoshoot next week with a new model. She seems driven and reliable. I LOVE that. I don’t like models who are flakey and don’t care. I love working with people who really want to work. So I’m very happy for next week. I’m sure it will go great! All the models I’ve ever worked with have been amazing and the new girl seems the same way.

What the hell?! Sorry mom, I mean “heck”

TODAY I ……

1. Took the wrong car keys while trying to drive to work

2. Went back inside to get the correct car keys to find I had locked myself out

3. Broke in, and my cat escaped outside

4. Drove to work (not raining outside) with the windshield wipers going non stop. They wont stop. EVER.

5. To much insanity. I deleted it. It could go on forever! 1 - 4 is all that I want to remember!

I bought a new bed. IT’S SO BIG! I have to literally climb into it. SWEET. My back feels better now. =)

edit: okay, so my back pain came back yet again. but my bed still rocks!

A few people are posting negative comments to me about my photos lately on deviantart. AWESOME! That means my photos must be pretty good. I’ve noticed that if your photos suck people usually feel sorry for you and only say nice things. But if they are jealous they want to tear you down. I feel encouraged by this turn of events. I can’t wait to take more photos! =o)

Can you believe it’s June tomorrow and it’s still jacket weather? At least I have Billy Idol that I can stay home and dance too when all is cold and gloomy.
